AAFFia on Campus

As part of its mission to inspire and empower the next generation of animators and animation professionals, the Accra Animation Film Festival (AAFFia) successfully delivered its University Outreach Program, providing a series of free masterclasses and presentations on topics relevant to the animation industry.

The AAFFia team conducted sessions at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, Radford University College, and the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) in Accra, engaging students in discussions around animation, storytelling, and creative entrepreneurship.

In addition to its university initiatives, AAFFia partnered with The Wit Schools in Accra to offer animation masterclasses for young children. These interactive workshops introduced participants to the fundamentals of animation and storytelling, nurturing creativity and problem-solving skills from an early age. Through these sessions, AAFFia successfully sparked curiosity, built confidence, and inspired a lifelong passion for creative expression among Ghana’s youngest storytellers.
